Hoang Pho is a local hotel that feels more dated than Hoang Nhat, which is directly across the street.
Mint green rooms have checkered tiled floor, flat pillows, old air-con units, floor fan, flatscreen TV, mini-fridge, WiFi, a window and some chairs. Bathrooms are large tiled wet rooms, with an electric heated shower and sink with no counter. Hoang Pho Hotel is more expensive and shabbier than new Lily Hotel but the rooms here are bigger. If we had to choose between Hoang Pho and Hoang Nhat, we’d probably choose the latter as it’s just slightly brighter and more updated. Both are walking distance to the bus depot, local eats and Coop Mart.
