Ca Na Hotel is the best budget option in town, and it’s waterfront to boot.

Not surprising, it is full on the weekends so if you expect you’ll be there during that time, it’s worthwhile trying to book in advance. There are no other comparable options in both price or quality.
A-Frame bungalows line the rocky shore. Inside the room is a basic box with tile floor and decent amenities: fan, air-con, a few windows, a bedside table and a coat rack. The ensuite wet-room bathroom is small, has an electric heated shower and Western toilet. Your front porch is mere steps from the ocean –- no beach front, but the property is beside the public beach. Rooms in the “villas” set behind the bungalows are more hotel style, somewhat dated but solidly built. The rooms are spacious, almost too big for the furniture to fill. The extras include minifridge, kettle, long mirror, big windows and a big bathroom.
The hotel has a restaurant overlooking the water. No English spoken. In a city this accommodation would be mediocre but in Ca Na, this is heads and tails the best a budget traveller could hope for. Some of the neighbouring properties have as much charm as a prison.
