Hi, I will be visit Myanmar in November. I have problem with transportation. If I arrived at Yangon airport around 5pm, will I be able to catch the night bus departing to Bagan/Mandalay if I go to Aung mingalar bus station directly? Can someone provide the the night bus schedule? What are the chances of buying the tickets on the spot?

the only sensible answer is maybe.
1.there are different buses on different companies in different grades of (dis)comfort, with also different prices. Schedules do not really exist, and www!? Got brains? Any sense of reality?
2. from what I remember-but for me its quite some time ago I was there, that busstation is not like the Mochit in BKK, but a collection of ''markets'' for different directions, with the buses on offer standing. There will be officious looking jacket wearing people selling tickets-or rather collecting fares. It is BEYOND the airpt coming off centre.
3. the better buses do not leave from there, but from various own offices spread around town-often also giving free transits into there by own pickups. These are all sold by local offcies(hole in the wall), with various mark-ups. Also buses do not go to 2 destinations-it is either/or. strategy is: be prepared for disappointment, get taxi from airpt, ask, if nothing avails (and read above-do not give up after the 1st no), then head into town and find place to stay. Often far better strategy to cough up a little more and have that place do the booking-often they have their own ''quota''.
