Just do Angkor Wat with perhaps a day trip out of Siem reap. By the time you take into account travel time you won't have time to see much if you try and do both

5 days is not much and enough to see something in one region of Vietnam. If you fly to Hanoi, then visit Hanoi, Halong or Ninh binh or Sapa but you will need at least 3 night 2 days for this trip.

If you love the exciting and bustle atmosphere, Ho Chi Minh City is ideal. It just takes 3 hours beeline to go to there. There are lots of interesting stuff to discovery without the haste, especially you will have opportunity to taste the variety of there cuisine. No regret to come there.
Best,

Hi,
5days, i travel Cambodia or Vietnam only, you should choose one of them to visit. 2 countries is the best, but now is the weather of Vietnam is better than Cambodia i think. In Vietnam, you can visit around Hanoi or HCMC or catch bus to Phu Quoc to relax. If you want to visit Cambodia, take a sunset cruise off Phnom Penhm eat fresh crab at coastal Kep.
Good luck!
