Getting Indonesian Visa in Pnom Penh lately

Posted by lajoy9 on 20/9/2016 at 09:04

Hi, I am wandering if anybody has tried getting a 60 days Visa for Indonesia in Pnom Penh recently? And how did it go? Any recommandations would be appreciated.

I read the link on Travelfish, but it is dated 2011.

We will be a week in Pnom Penh and the city would be the best place for us to get the Visa.

If there is an embassy then should not be a problem as long as you have the right paperwork - photos, copy of return flight ticket, copy of passport and cash to pay for it - what you should check is whether they require a sponsor - in Thailand they were quite happy to issue the visa without one

The other thing to do is check the times when you can hand in and get your passport back which will be quite different to the embassy opening hours

Finally be very careful of "holidays" as the embassy is likely to be shut on both Indonesian AND Cambodian holidays
