I am afraid that until the pandemic is declared over you will have a difficult time finding a monastery to accept a foreign visitor. As an example, right now Thailand is allowing limited entry for travel and other purposes, but you would need to complete an expensive 14-day quarantine in an Alternative State Quarantine hotel when you arrive. Travel between provinces is also restricted.
If you are looking for a good entry level meditation program, Wat Suan Mokkh in Surat Thani Province, Thailand offers 10-day beginning level retreats each month. This is a popular program and very affordable. You could complete the beginning retreat then get an idea from the instructors of where you can go next to continue your journey. Unfortunately, the retreats are cancelled until further notice due to the pandemic.
You will find their English-language information at: http://www.suanmokkh-idh.org/
Good luck with your journey. For now, however, I suspect the best you can do is find online meditation resources or join Zoom style classes and instruction. Best wishes.
