Mondulkiri Project - Saving elephants and protecting forests

Posted by mondulkiri2014 on 14/10/2014 at 00:13

The Mondulkiri Project is an eco-tourism organization protecting forests from logging. Their protected forest provides a sanctuary for elephants away from tourist rides and heavy farm work. In the future it plans to start an elephant breeding program.

The Mondulkiri Project was developed in consultation with the local Bunong Indigenous community. It provides them with economically and ecologically sustainable income opportunities.
The Mondulkiri Project is located close to Sen Monorom in a beautiful jungle valley with waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife.
Support the Mondulkiri Project by going on one of there unique one or two day Elephant Adventures or Jungle Trekking tours. Walk with, feed, swim with and wash elephants at a waterfall. No elephant riding. Learn about elephants and hill tribe culture. Stay overnight in their Jungle Lodge. Trek through beautiful jungle and see amazing waterfalls.
