2 week intinery, singapore, southern thailand, phillipines??

Hi we are looking to book a honeymoon shortly, neither of us has been to Asia before and we want to try and visit singapore (2-3 days), southern Thailand (probably fly to phuket then phi phi/ko lanta/krabi, maybe not all of these), then fly to phillipines for around 5 days, (don't plan to move around too much whilst there) then back to singapore to fly back to london. (approx 14 days in all)

We aren't massively adventurous and like our comforts so we will be quite happy with beaches, nice restaurants, bars, maybe with the odd excursion, nothing too involved, we just want to relax and eat nice food to be honest!!

Is this realistic? and do you think this would suit our needs? if anyone knows the phillipines, which island might be the best one for us? (we aren't divers, would prefer nice little bars and food),

feeling a little overwhelmed with the choice! thanks in advance!

Hi,

I'm curious as to why you've included both the Philippines and Thailand, as I think you may be trying to fit too much in.

I think singapore (lots of restaurants, chi-chi rooftop bars, etc.) will make a nice contrast with the beachy locations. But remember everytime you change locations you lose the better part of a day to transport, and you probably don't want to spend your honeymoon rushing around on transport.

So a sample itinerary could look something like this:

Day 1 - arrive singapore, get to hotel, explore town a bit
Day 2 & 3 - singapore
Day 4 - fly to phuket
Day 5 & 6 - phuket
Day 7 - go to island one
Day 8 & 9 - island one
Day 10 - go to island 2
Day 11 & 12 - island 2
Day 13 - return to phuket and fly back to singapore
Day 14 - fly home

As you can see, that's still quite a lot of moving around!

You'd have to research the connections carefully - how the ferry and flight times match up, so can you make it from the island back to singapore in one day, or if you'll need to overnight in phuket, and get a phuket to singapore flight the following day that connects, timing wise, to your singapore to home flight. Can you make it all the way from the island back to singapore airport and connect onto your home flight in one day, or will you have to do it in two, like on the sample itinerary?

Finally, you haven't mentioned when you plan to go, but that will impact your plans as the Andaman Coast of Thailand has a rainy season.

Have a great trip.

Hello, adding on to the above post.

Singapore will be a great place to enjoy the restaurants in comfort. Some highlights are Marina Bay, Garden by the bays, Clark Quey. However, it's more expensive compared to the rest of the southeast asia country.

I personally will suggest to skip Singapore since it's the city type like London, unless you want to visit the architecture here.

Phuket or Philippines have more beach and comfort activities to offer.
