Hi Candy,

Now that's a trip!

The only point that really jumps out at me is returning to Vientiane to fly to Siem Reap -- given you want to see southern Laos, I'd suggest continuing south and crossing at the overland border into Cambodia and then continuing south via Kratie etc to Phnom Penh, then bus/boat to Siem Reap and pick up your existing trip from there.

yeah that makes sense somtam. So if we decide to continue onto South Laos, maybe this would be ok..
Pakse - 4 Thousand Islands
Kratie - Kompong Cham
Kompong Cham - PP
PP - Siem Reap
Siem Reap - Battambang
Battambang - PP
PP - Kep/Kampot
Shianoukville - PP onto Saigon?? (is it possible to just go from Shianoukville to Saigon direct?

So no other suggestions, wow i thought for sure i may not have had it right, this is the first time i have ever travelled!! So all new..i understand everyone is different but how long do you think something like this would take approx?
