Raja Ampat on a budget?

Posted by Tokaymas on 21/12/2012 at 21:05

The Raja Ampat islands in Indonesia's West Papua province are one of the wildest and most pristine places we'd ever seen. Tourism is only just beginning out there, thanks to the region's astounding marine biodiversity and acknowledgement as one of the world's premier dive destinations. The only problem we had was organising our stay - there was almost *no* information available on the internet for travellers looking to visit Raja Ampat on a budget. We decided to remedy that and help local communities out there at the same time. We've gathered as much information as we can for you and will be updating it as more comes to hand. If you're thinking of visiting Raja Ampat, we hope http://www.stayrajaampat.com/raja-ampat-step-by-step-guide will help.

Great information. Thanks for taking the time.
I'll be there in March or April...

Any updates on Raja Ampat? Anyone been recently? I have a month to kill here, would like to head east of Bali/Lombok to some serene slices of paradise, Raja Ampat seems very fitting. We are on a budget though!

Anyone...?
