Padang Bai and Ubud

Posted by smartlyndy on 19/9/2015 at 20:24

Hi all,
Is it necessary to book ahead for accommodation in Padang Bai and Ubud in November?
Does anyone have recommendations for good places to stay in the backpacker / flashpacker range?
Many thanks

depending on your budget, I would highly recommend katut's place b&b in ubud. very nice, pool and close to "downtown" as well as, just up the road, lush rice paddys, very scenic.

No to booking (unless perhaps arriving late)

Padangbai is easy to look around, there are several cheap places clustered near the bus park and gang Segara 111. I stayed at the Darma and was very comfortable and happy there and then along the coast on the bay are any number of flashpacker places. All are very close

Great advice amnicoll. That's what I was hoping!
Thanks so much.
