Surf lessons for beginners

Posted by u2tool on 21/11/2017 at 16:59

Loved Stuart's review of OBB Surf, but their website seems to have disappeared. Anybody have recommendations on a good surfing school or instructor - for wife, myself and 9-year old daughter. We're going to move around the island so it can be Kuta area or elsewhere. Sandy bottom highly appreciated!

Hi,

Ahh I have to update that story!

A really good coach we know is Wayan, whose website is here: Bali Outdoor surf lessons

He works out of Seseh, which is a bit west of Canggu but he can travel around on spec. He taught my son for a while (that is my son on the board in the photo actually!

Wayan is a very friendly guy with good English and very good with kids.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Stuart. So the website said Wayan is the instructor - same same as Made, or different people?

Ops, I mixed up his name - yes Wayan! I'll edit the post above to clear that up.
