Flying from Vietnam to Laos - onward journey requirement?

Posted by Zeeber on 23/12/2016 at 06:10

Hi there. I'm flying into Luang Prabang from Hanoi, and I wondered if I need evidence of an onward journey? I'm really anxious about this having been barred from entering a flight into Vietnam from Thailand. Better safe than sorry. Thanks in advance!

Hi Zeeber,
No, when you enter Laos you are not required to show evidence of an onward journey. You just need US $ for the visa on arrival.

Have a great trip to Luang Prabang.

I can second that information, they just want your dollars.
