Pakse airport stopover: time for visa?

Posted by Riolomas on 7/1/2017 at 23:37

Hi I'm booked on a flight from Siem Reap to Luang Prabang with a stopover in in Pakse of only 40 minutes. I think its all on the same Air Lao aircraft because both flights have the same flight number. Does anyone know if this is enough time to get an airport visa into the country? (USA citizen) Flight is on Jan 24th. Or can I get one in the Luang Prabang airport? Thanks to anyone that can help with this answer!

Hi,
If you've booked the Siem Reap to Luang Prabang flight, then you get the visa on arrival in Luang Prabang airport. Pakse is just a stop, and you don't leave the airport/go through passport control there.
