Tourist dies at Gibbon Experience in Laos
Tragically a tourist has died at the Gibbon Experience in Laos. This is the first fatality since its inception in 1996. Details are still sketchy on what happened. If you're headed that way soon, it will be prudent to contact them to check the status of the investigation and if the zip-lines have reopened.
More details here and there is a brief statement on their website.

An American tourist dead from his injuries on thursday after he fell 130 ft from the zip line when his main and back up safety failed. No employees of the park provide first aid or cpr because none are trained. Please read all the review and know the risk that you are taking when you look at booking this experience.
