Arriving late at night in Kuching?

Posted by modulatrix on 20/4/2013 at 14:12

I'm considering a flight that arrives in Kuching at 12:15am. Are there taxis available at the airport at that time? Is it safe for a woman travelling alone? Thanks!

OF course there are teksis. No need to even ask.
Its safe if you are western-its not that safe if you are an Asian lady.(the usual reply is ''use common sense''-however that is nonsense- those youngies that ask this have NO common sense-otherwise they would have realised its a nonsense Q- [plus that real common sense= life experience only gets building up by experience.

I've only been to Malaysia once and it was only a 2 day stopover. I do remember getting off the plane at around midnight and no ATMs working for religious reasons? Can someone verify this. What I'm
Getting at is it could be a good idea to have cash with you before landing
