Hello Travelers. Can anyone tell me if the Raffelsia plant is in flower.in Kuching, Sarawack.
It is the world's largest plant flowering times unpredictable. I live in Lamngkawi, thus can structure my time to visit Sarawak, to that of the flowering...Cheers.Gerry

There is no set season for rafflesia - each plant grows for 9 months then blooms for a week or less. Even if someone had told you "I was there yesterday, and there were blooms", unless you can organise to get on a plane immediately, you might well arrive too late.
So your best bet is to head to an area with a known high concentration of plants, and hope at least one of them is in bloom when you get there (and ensure you go out with a local guide, who will have made it his business to know which of the local plants are currently blooming).
