Google Streetview comes to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket

Google have just launched their street view service in Thailand.

I've had a bit of fun checking out Khao San Road and others areas of Bkk that I have yet to venture into.

I know that there was a similar street view service back in 2008 - I remember checking out Chiang Mai after I returned from a trip there.

Great! I love Google street view.

Just wish they took a nicer 360 pic of my place back in Sydney (ie one when the bins weren't out).

Bins are the least of your worries. At least they didn't catch you naked like this lady:

or... naked in your car boot - like this guy!

Not to mention the corpses mentioned in the first article. Think I'll keep Brazil off the travel itinerary for now.

Wonder when they will do a similar version for the Mekong?
