Khao Yai national park in April

Posted by stever1000 on 9/1/2014 at 18:21

I have read that the best time to go to this park is around Dec/Jan.

If I go the last 2 weeks in April, will it be wet (rainy)? Will there be many animals around?

April is dry month. I went in April and it was crap. Dry waterfalls and only saw a few monkeys and birds. Was pretty lame.

I've also been there during March (similar to April) which is peak dry season. No waterfalls and extremely hot. If you want to see animals and waterfalls the best parks would be further south in Khao Sok and Kaeng Krachan.
