Hey guys
A group of 7 of us are gonna be travelling to thailand, laos, cambodia and maybe vietnam at the end of the year. Any tips or warnings bout any problems we could encounter with such a large group.

None really spring to mind. If you're travelling in peak season you may sometimes not be able to get accommodation all in the one place, but that's about all I can think of.

One thing about "group traveling" that comes to mind is if you guys are real young, there is always one jerk that can get everyone else in trouble! A group of young guys will always have one guy who is into dope big time and he could hide his "stuff" in your bags when clearing customs or at airports. You get the blame for his stuff and you go to jail! You don't want to get involved with dope overseas, especially in Thailand!

If you guys are not young and stupid then you have other problems if the "group" is mixed, men and women. Someone is always hooking up with someone else and the odd man out is sort of a "fifth wheel!"

Other than those two stupid comments, traveling with a small group is not too bad, you always have someone to watch your gear when you have to use the toilet instead of when traveling single and you have to lug you gear into the washroom. You always have someone to watch your back when you are in a group that you can trust.

Good luck.
