Seven was born of a partnership between its proprietor Pylin Jane Sanguanpiyapand and her inspirational design team - legendary UK design firm Studio Output, renowned young Thai interior designer/architect Komsuree Komintre and award-winning Thai landscape designer Piyachanok Wijarn (spearhead of Cindy Crawford’s residence in Malibu and Leonardo DiCaprio’s boutique hotel in Belize).

Seven is inspired by ancient Thai art and the deep-rooted Thai tradition of relating each day of the week to a specific god of the planets, as in ancient Indian astrology, each of which has a particular colour:
Sunday is red for the Sun god Phra Arthit.
Monday is yellow for the Moon god Phra Charn.
Tuesday is pink for the Mars god Phra Angkarn.
Wednesday is green for the Mercury god Phra Phut.
Thursday is orange for the Jupiter god Phra Pareuhat.
Friday is blue for the Venus god Phra Suk.
Saturday is purple for the Saturn god Phra Sao.

Formerly a plain old townhouse, Seven was immaculately renovated and redeveloped with a uniquely Thai concept by its young proprietor, Pylin Jane Sanguanpiyapand, and her inspirational design team into a haven for the privileged few, with just six couture rooms on four levels. Seven simply epitomizes the feeling of a stylish private home rather than a hotel.
The multi-purposed 'Seventh Space’ - reception / gallery / bar / library and each of the six guestrooms are designed around the hotel’s main concept - seven different colours for seven days of the week: red, yellow, pink, green, orange, blue and purple. Each is an individual piece of art with striking specially-commissioned murals inspired by traditional Thai arts against the backdrop of minimalist furniture and reclaimed antique hardwood floor.

Seven’s ‘Seventh Space’, the Red reception area also serves as a bar (aptly named 7th Heaven); a gallery displaying Asian based artists; and a library, and is undoubtedly the hotel’s focal point with red painted wall and a fiery custom designed mural. The design is perfectly complemented by cool polished concrete and dark wood furniture. The ultra comfortable sink-in communal table invites a flow of conversation between Seven’s exclusive guests (especially after a signature cocktail or two!).

The Serenity Terrace, just above the lobby, and the Sun Deck on the rooftop make Seven a true oasis in bustling Bangkok. They are ideal places to relax, read a book and chat with friends while sipping a glass of chilled white wine.

Seven Team aims to make our guests’ stay at Seven an extraordinary one. Our services include:
• 24-hour concierge
• Laundry

Seven’s six couture rooms are named in colours associated with different days of the week from Monday through Saturday (Yellow, Pink, Green, Orange, Blue and Purple):

This affords not only easy access to all the traditionalist tourist sights, but also means guests will be staying in one of the most fashionable and happening parts of town. The Sukhumvit area is home to an endless variety of art galleries, bars, boutiques, hi-end shopping malls and fine restaurants.
