Concerns from a bug-phobe

I hate to be a baby, but I'm getting concerned about the insect situation in Cambodia. I grew up in the tropics so I'm used to my share of cockroaches, crickets, etc. but I've been reading about SWARMS of nasty insects - even in the hotel rooms. How bad is it? I need to mentally prepare...

The center for disease control site is pretty good and has good recommendations for insect protection

Just bring immediate remedy -> your insect bites first aid kit. And of course a complete list of clinics or hospitals addresses in case of severe bites...

I had this scorpion in my house... huge black thing. Needless to say, he had to go before he had a chance to sting my daughter.
