My wife and I will be spending a few months on an around the world trip starting in November and we recently had someone mention needing to bring immunization records with us to be admitted to certain countries. We are both current on all recommended immunizations for all the countries we are going to but don't have specific records and they would be a bit difficult to track down. Has anyone on here had immunization records requested when entering a country in SE Asia? Or anywhere else for that matter?

I see that nobody has responded to this question, so I will give it my best try:
I have flown in and out of Thailand and surrounding countries dozens of times over the years, and never been asked for any type of shot record or proof of immunizations. I suspect that is true for most people from most countries.
What I have seen, however, is requiring proof from people who are from, or who have travelled through areas known to have certain types of diseases, such as Yellow Fever. So, depending on where you are from and where you have recently been, this could be an issue. However, as I said, it never has been for me or anyone else I know. Cheers.
