Hi everybody. I and my boyfriend are traveling about 2 months and now we're in Phu Quoc. It small island in Vietnam. We decided put here our observations. So let me show you, what I'm seeing now!

Before we arrived to Phu Quoc, we've watched commercials how people form island caring about environment. How they cleaning whole the area with garbage. It was really good feeling, because the last weeks we saw only garbage and smelled pollutions. But after a few steps form ferry harbour, we saw garbage mountains. So disappointed! But we didn't give up. We thought that couldn't be so bad. Guess what? It's worse! Whole island is one, big construction site and garbage dump. We are people who care about environment, so we decided took a pictures and show you how island really looks like. Because we heard that Phu Quoc got in 2008 aword for the cleanest beaches, world's top five! It's not true. People here don't even know about environment problems. They don't care. Once we saw, burning trash next to main street. Can you imagine, how it stank?!

We are from Poland, we like traveling, but we don't want to spend our money in places, where is a lack of awareness. Any blog or guide didn't write about Phu Quoc true face. Be more curious and choose a pleace where you really rest!
