Sagion to Rach Gia by boat

Posted by Stuke on 10/8/2013 at 19:45

Can anyone tell me if there is a boat ride to Rach Gia that ISN'T a cabin boat ? Can you hire a boat to ride you down to the floating markets and then take a taxi into Rach Gia ? Or is it only freighter boats ?

We don't want to spend a ton of monies offered by the tour operators of house boats. They seem like very nice boats, but are very expensive and take too long. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time & consideration

Have you looked at a map before you posted this question? There are no boats (cabin or no cabin) doing this route and certainly no tour operators. It would take you several days and several boat transfers to do this.

It would be adventurous though.
