How much money can I bring to Vietnam?

I am citizen of Sri Lanka. I wish to have a holiday in Vietnam to meet my friend. She helped me to apply for a visa to Vietnam at visaforvietnam.org.Now, I am very eager to travel to Vietnam. I wish that there is no any problem occurs.I am wondering how much money can I bring? Please give me advice. Thanks for any help.

You can bring in as much as you want, BUT, you have to declare large sums currently over $5000, I believe).
