Hi, I'm travelling around Vietnam in April. I want to visit HCM, CanTho, Phnom

Penh and Siem Reap. I would like to take a boat from PP to SR but confused how to do the rest. Is it best by bus, plane or car. I'm having trouble sorting out timetables etc. Will have about a week in the area. Thanks in advance

A busy week. Especially if you want to do boat from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap (as that take best part of a day).

Routing could be something like:
Ho Chi Minh City -> bus -> Can Tho -> bus HCM -> bus/fly -> Phnom Penh -> Boat -> Siem Reap

If you're planning on going to Can Tho to see the floating markets, would suggest you look into one of the Mekong Delta tours that start in Saigon and finish in Phnom Penh. These are generally three day/two night jobs and ANY travel agent in Saigon will be able to assist. That will save you back tracking to Saigon + you'll get to see a bit more of the Delta.

Hope that helps.

How long do you spend for your vacation? You can refer the itinerary: Ho Chi Minh City - Cambodia - Phnom Penh - Siem Reap. From HCMC, you can catch bus to Phnom Penh woth cost US$8-12 one way.
Happy travels!

We visited PP in Jan for 2 days, then took a bus named Ibis giant to SR. Before the trip, we considered taking a boat to try new experience but I did not find it convenient. Thus we took a bus. The bus ran more than 6 hrs with 15 usd/ticket.
