HI everyone,
i will be in Sapa in the begining of October.

would like your advice about:
1. recommondations for night train operator to Sapa
2. treks around sapa - heavan gate? the Mohng Vally?
3. should i oreder a tour ahead (in the net or in Hanoi) or trek independently?

I like one of the newer private carriages (they're all pulled by the same engine) like Chapa, Fansipan or Sapaly

If you want to book ahead, this company is very good - I've known them (Sense of Indochina) for 9 years.

I'd say no real need to book in advance for tours -- unless you know exactly what you want.
