Police stolling Mui Nehi guus!

Posted by Davidcalderon12 on 1/3/2017 at 09:51

Hi guys!
So a few weeks ago a policeman stopped me on the motorbike outside of Mui Ne and wanted me to pay a bribe of 1,000,000 vnd. I said I wouldn't pay that and he said that he would keep my license until I payed. I figured that it was cheaper to get a new one back home than to pay the bribe, so I continued north. I met a guy in my hostel today who told me that because the guy has my license I will get into a lot of trouble when I get out of Vietnam and probably won't be able to return.
What do you guys think? How much should I worry? Thank you!

Why would they check (or even ask for) your license when leaving the country?

It's not about them asking for my licence, it's about the policeman raising a report with the information it says in my licence.
