Changing money for visa on arrival

Posted by Kmcgregor1 on 26/2/2017 at 23:39

Hi,

Just need some advice about converting money as I'm really bad with numbers and currency conversions.

I need some USD so I can buy my visa on arrival when I go to Nepal on Thursday. I'm currently in Japan until tomorrow and then I'll be flying back to Kuala Lumpur.

Do you think it's better to convert yen to USD, or Malaysian Ringgit?

Sorry to be stupid, appreciate any help.

Many thanks

Its better if you convert the USD in local currency. There are many small vendors who don't accept USD. So to having the local currency is always a good option.
