Learning to dive Koh Tao

Posted by smash on 12/7/2009 at 05:00

Has anyone had any experience with: * Simple Life Koh Tao Diving / Koh Tao Wind Resort (BHT9,800 pp) * Davy Jones' Locker / Silver Sands Hotel & Beach Resort (BHT9,800 pp) * Planet Scuba (THB9,270 pp) I think I'm leaning towards the Davy Jones' Locker/Silver Sands or the ...

This is based on my experience in April 2008 with ALADDIN DIVE SAFARI in Thailand. It was a lesson learnt in dealing with dive safari operators in Thailand. I never received "the promised reimbursement" due to the mishap incurred by me. I am posting this on dive web sites to caution all fellow divers to take note so that they can take the necessary precautions. All the best, Dalip A gist of the incident is provided below.
