Visa on arrival question

Hello, I'm going to Burma in 11 days from Bangkok. I already payed the visa on arrival, I chose the option 1 that it takes 2 weeks to the visa get ready. So I just saw "the 2 weeks" after I payed, anyone knows what can i do to fix that mistake? The option 2 Express is more 20 usd, is it possible pay the difference or I just have to buy another visa, now Express. Thanks in advance. Hugo ...

Hi, I need sound advice on my travel plans and whether they are feasible.I have travelled Thailand and Cambodia for some 10 years now(on and off!)and this time around I was hoping to visit either Laos or Burma for one week.My plan is to fly direct to Chiang Mai for several days and then one of the beforehand mentioned.On leaving either of these I then wish to go to Battambang and Siem Reap before heading to Ko Tao in Thailand...Am I being too optimistic here?I only have 24days!!Thanks in ...

Hi all, im counting away the days, its final now i'll in myanmar on the 7th of august for two weeks , ill just go for the clasic tour. I was just wondering about one more thing, what about the currency of the kyatt? how much do i get for 10 dollar? it gives me an idea of what everything will cost... does anybody have an idea? We are currently in the middle of a six month trip around Asia and have just decided to add Myanmar to our Itinerary based on what we have heard from other travellers. Reading our guide it seems the big four of Inle Lake, Mandalay, Bagan and Yangon should take about a month. We plan to enter from Mae Sai in the north of Thailand and fly out of Yangon. Greetings, I know this site doesn't cover Burma but I hoped someone out there could give me some advice. I would like to visit Burma this February in order to evaluate the state of Buddhism there. Plane tickets from Bangkok to Rangoon are expensive and I'd much rather go through the Mae Sot border crossing from Thailand if possible. I've read that the border crossings sometimes close unexpectedly depending on the political situation. How real is this possibility? Does anyone have experi ...
