Hello all I am trying to travel from Siem Reap to Phu Quoc is via Ha Tien . In early January- it looks like the route is Siem Reap to Phnom Pehn, PP to Kep or Kampot , Kep or Kampot to Ha Tien, Ha Tien to Phu Quoc. It looks like the best way to get from Siem Reap to Phnom Pehn is by bus and then stay the night in PP. But here are a few other questions 1. After 1 month in Vietnam, I crossed the border from Ha tien to kep. I found a little paradise just 300 meters before the pier for going to Rabbit Island. It’s a guesthouse very clean with a gorgeous garden. I spent my time my foot inside the fountain where some fish make me a massage. The rooms are a bit small but for me or a couple it’s perfect. Bokor mountain is closed

Sad but true, the Bokor mountain close to Kampot is closed. Some say because of corrupt police some say because of road maintenance... So Kampot is only good for buying pepper as I like trekking... If you buy , buy at blissfulguesthouse to get a fair trade pepper, or cheap at the new market... ...

Hak's House is a gem of a hotel. Lovely atmosphere and amazing value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished. Bathroom also very pleasant. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. On arrival we were greeted with a drink and a run-down on how to get the best out of the Angkor historical site. The food at the hotel was delicious.
