"The newest Consulate General in Chiang Mai will provide visas to Myanmar as well as offer services for Myanmar citizens and improve linkages between Chiang Mai and Myanmar." Looks like you'll be able to get your Myanmar visa directly instead of paying way more and waiting longer via a travel agent. ...

Hi, we're travelling around from tomorrow until August 24. We understand our schedule's kinda cramped. Feel free to suggest anything about our itinerary. If you think, we should spend more time in a place, or take another mode of transportation, feel free to comment please. Day 1 - Bangkok - take a train to Cambodia (we've been to bangkok a few times so we prefer going somewhere else this time. Days 2 and 3- Siem Reap Would you recommend staying in Mekong Delta for two days with homestay at ...

I want to do most of Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia, can any recommend a specific route to take? hoping to get as much sun as possible as well. Itinerary Bangkok, Vietnam. Cambodia

Posted by Aelfred on 13/7/2016 at 12:20

i have flights booked to and from Bangkok for Feb 2017 for a three week stay. I am really struggling with an itinerary. We are a couple in our mid sixties and reasonably fit but not keen on backpacking. We plan on three days in Bangkok at the end of our stay and about a week on a beach. We have been advised to try Chiang Mai but I'm worried that it will be too commercialised for us. Is it feasible do travel to Siem Reap and how long would we need there. How do I choose a beach stay? We like ...

Itinerary help -

Posted by jetskidd46 on 6/7/2016 at 14:19

Hi all, I recently booked a RT ticket to Bangkok (July 12-August 4), but I have literally nothing else planned. I've sketched out a rough itinerary below, but it's way too ambitious for 24 days. Does anyone know what I should prioritize? What I should skip? I'm not much of a partier, and I tend to like history, culture, and nature. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Land in Bangkok (1-2 days) Siem Riep/Angkor Wat (2-3 days) Ho Chi Minh City/Mekong River Delta (3 days) Hoi An/Da Nang/Hue (1 d ...

Hello! I'm planning a trip for this summer to SEA and have a strict limit of 6 weeks, flying in at out of Bangkok. Mai to Luang Prabang, flying to Vientiane, then into Cambodia (haven't done that much research around this area but thinking about Siem Reap and Angkor, Battambang, Phomn Phen), the ...

My boyfriend and I will spend 12 days in Thailand between the end of July and the first week of August: we are planning to spend 4 nights in Bangkok (visiting Ayuttaya as a daily excursion), then moving to Kanchanaburi (1 night). After Kanchanaburi we would like to spend some beach days: we were looking at Prachuab Kiri Kan and the surrounding area. We are looking for a quiet relaxed place. Hey so I'm in Cambodia now, heading to Vietnam soon, but when I get there I'll have more than 30 days before my flight. Getting info on Vietnam visa prices is very difficult. I'm wondering if I should just extend my Cambodian visa and stay here longer, then go to Vietnam for 30 days, or should I get a 45 day visa for Vietnam (is that an option for a Canadian and how much?). Thanks guys. ...
