Itinerary Help needed August - November - Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia

Posted by shaunjansen on 17/1/2013 at 09:41

Hi all, I am planning a trip to SE Asia in December for the first trip, very looking forward to it and want to try and make the most of it too! I want to know if what I've got planned would be suitable as looking through previous threads I see that plenty would prefer a more relaxed pace of travel, but as I don't think I'll be visiting this area again anytime soon I wanted to try and make the most of it, hence my slightly packed itinerary, let me know what you think.... 1 BANGKOK 2 Ayutthaya ...

Hi all, My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to SEA and would greatly appreciate your advice on our route. We plan to be in the region from early April to early August and would like to visit Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Indonesia/Bali. Costs (Laos, Cambodia, Burma)

Firstly, apologies if this is been posted in an incorrect area of the forum! It has been some years (over a decade) since my first and only visit to SEA. Back then, Burma was closed-off to foreigners; meaning, I spent most of my trip in Laos and Vietnam. I have browsed through several guidebooks and threads on this site looking for budgetary specifics; but most are vague. I will be working in Burma for several months from February, and will, eventually, make my way to Cambodia, Laos and Vietn ...
