My fiance and I are in Singapore for 3 days next month, and are staying near Chinatown.
Based on what we've read, we are looking to see the Zoo, the Aquarium and the Night Safari, as well as tour Chinatown and Little India.
Are there other must-see attractions, or other recommended sites? Temples and historical sites, or other highlights?
Our timeline is flexible, and and suggestions are greatly appreciated. ...

In early 2014, we put together a list of what we thought were the best 30 hostels in Singapore. After much deliberation, we pared it back to 15 places, and then in February 2014, we went and stayed a night in each of the 15. From those 15 nights we shaved the very best down to 10 Great Hostels in Singapore.
The first five are now online.
#1 Fisher BnB
#2 Rucksack Inn Hong Kong Street
#3 Wink Hostel
#4 Bunc @Radius LittleIndia
#5 The Green Kiwi
I'll get the other five up tomorrow as I need to ...

However, I also understand that immigration officials in Singapore don't check for proof of onward travel. My question is, do Jetstar in Australia check for proof of onward travel?

Need advise on options for stay withing Changi terminals overnight without having to clear immigration.
Been looking at the Ambassador transit hotel and 60$ for 6 hrs seems atrociously pricey
Read somewhere about the "Singapore Stopover" package where we get reasonable hotels plus airport transfer each way for about $US 60 per room. Can someone help how we could go about availing this please ?
Me and my spouse will be transiting via Singapore from Bangalore to Perth mid next month.
Have been reading about VFTF - Visa Free Transit Facility to Singapore which allows passport holders of Common Wealth nations with a confirmed connecting flight to a third country to travel and stay in Singapore without applying for a visa for a maximum duration of 96 hours.
Could someone who is aware of this option or used this facility in the recent past please provide some advise.
