Posted by nodnroch on 23/12/2008 at 11:23

Things like facilities, closeness to transport, attractions nearby, food and other things available immediately around the hotel, ...

Posted by SusiQ81 on 28/1/2012 at 06:10

The limitations of an annual leave allowance mean that I will only have 7 days to spend in singapore/indonesia on the way back from a trip to Sydney. The plus side is that we have the money to jump on planes and are happy to give over a day or two to some hard core travelling (all part of the fun) to make the most of this little time. Also ideally want to rough it and spend as little as poss when we actually land somewhere. Any recommendations of where and how to go gratefully received. Thank ...

Singapore is Doable

Posted by Thomas922 on 5/4/2011 at 11:35

I have heard a lot about Singapore being so expensive from folks and I am always stunned by that. As a Tokyo/New York dweller who just returned from Miami and L.A. I find Singapore quite affordable once you work out accommodation. Many people on their SEAsia trips may think it is expensive after Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia etc. But if you plan accordingly, and you are from the above mentioned cities or any big city in Europe of the States I don't see the problem. Coming from Tokyo to Singapore ...
