Book your Thailand travel tickets online
Buy train, bus and ferry tickets online.

Is this even feasable??

Posted by wgiles1 on 24/8/2008 at 07:56

Hey everyone, I know this is a bit last minute, but please be honest with me and let me know what you think about this itenerary. I'm in Hong Kong right now, heading to Bangkok on Tuesday to start the backpacking portion of my trip. Mind you, we only have 20 days (Aug 16-Sept 15) so if you think this is packing in too much, please let me know. Arrive in BK on 26th and head to Ubon on an overnight train (hopefully that night). Bus from Ubon to Pakse where we get our visa and hop ...

5/6 Days in Phuket and Ko Phi Phi

Posted by wanderingdreamer on 2/8/2008 at 18:10

Hi I am spending 5/6 days in the Phuket region on a stopover to Laos and am wondering how I should plan my time. I would like to spend a few days on Ko Phi Phi (I know its touristy but I just have to do it!!!) and a few days on a less touristy beach in Phuket which is close to some decent snorkelling (if that's possible). I would like to spend my time kayaking, snorkelling, walking and lying on the beach. Does anyone have any good suggestions for places I can go to independently or as part ...

Thinking of Ban Toei

Posted by mic59 on 12/8/2008 at 17:01

I've found something on this site about Ban Toei in Nan. Sounds like a good and out of the way place to go to. Can anyone who has been there give me any ideas about it, such as exactly how to get there, what accomodation choices are there(I've read the guesthouse reviews and there is only one place mentioned). Also is there anything like a market, caves, waterfalls etc. ...

Gecko's Tour advice

Posted by LouieJean on 9/8/2008 at 07:08

I am planning to travel with Gecko's adventures in January, looking at the 17 day Thailand-Laos-Camodia trip. I will be flying out of Bangkok, but the trip ends in Phnom Penh, is there a simple cheap way to get to Bangkok for an amerture traveller? The other option is doing just the Thailand-Laos leg which is a shorter round trip. Has anyone done these particular tours? Is Cambodia worth the extra $ and time? I would love the balls to just go solo but past experiences have pointed me toward ...

Thai Islands- Trying to avoid rain

Posted by savage on 7/8/2008 at 10:20

We're planning on going to a few islands between the last half of September and the first half of October. We will probably do Phuket, Ko Phi Phi and perhaps Phang-Nga on the West coast and Ko Tao, Ko Pha Ngan, and Koh Samui on the SE coast. Right now the plan is to fly into Phuket and we were going to work our way up to Northern Thailand. I've read that Sept is rainy season for the SW coast and that it isn't so bad for the SE coast. For the SW coast it also seems that October is a better time t ...
