Rabies Vaccination in Thailand

Posted by MarkUnders on 24/10/2012 at 07:08

There is currently a rabies vaccination shortage in UK and I am also put off by £180 price tag for the 3 pre vaccinations. I have found on a blog that you can get this pre vaccination a lot cheaper in thailand. There is a place in bangkok (snake farm) where you can get this for £12 per vaccination. My issue is we aren't going to hang around bangkok for 30 days therefore does anyone know of medical centres in koh samui that can follow up this vaccination with the others as we need them? ( ...

Phuket Games Zone - just opened in Phuket

Posted by orange29 on 29/11/2012 at 03:47

Phuket Games Zone is a new activity/games center that has just opened in Phuket, on the same street as Phuket Zoo. They have 3 games on offer: 1) Football Golf - I played and I thought it was really fun. It's similar to normal golf, but smaller and instead of using a golf ball and club, you use a football and your foot. The holes are bigger of course. It is an 18 hole course, par 72, and took me and my girlfriend about an hour to play. 2) Body Zorbing - we had a go on this too. A body zorb i ...

best accomodation option with kids on 3 month trip to thailand (islands)

Posted by ruthc on 25/8/2012 at 07:12

We are planning on going to one of the islands in thailand with our 2 year old daughter for 3 months (Jan - March). Rather than travelling around a lot we would like to base ourselves in one place and then do short trips from there. Ideally we would like to rent a bungalow or something similar which has a basic kitchen, but not sure if that option exists unless we pay a really high holiday rental charge which is more aimed at 2 week holiday makers. Does anyone have experience of rental accomod ...
