I'm travelling to Vientiane on 9 Sept - 16 Sept 08 by air. This 1st time I'm travelling alone. All the while I travelled through travel agency, they did every things for me. This is my 1st experience, I'm going to encounter. Could any one advice me A-Z what to do? I haven't even booked my accommodation yet. Pls help me I'm nervous. ...

E-fish vs guides

Hey there, Have bought some of the guides and also used the e-fish, but was a little disappointed that some of the guides are not as up to date as the e-fish (thinking P Penh in terms of accommodation etc, the reviews and stuff). As they are all electronic, couldn't the guides be updated similarly to the e-fish or use some of the newer user reviews for the accommodation? Also, found the maps a bit harder with the use of same numbers but different symbols (eg: guesthouse square #3, food triang ...

We've just got our latest Travelfish Guide into the shop -- it covers the Thai island of Ko Samet and includes coverage of all of the islands beaches and pretty much everything you'll need to know. Just a quick note -- we've had a flurry of emails of late from people who have bought Travelfish Guides, saying they are yet to receive them. The Guides are available for download immediately after purchase, from the Member Centre. We DO NOT email the guide to you, nor do we post it to you -- you download it yourself.
