Best itinerary for travelling in Vietnam in November?

Posted by Burmeseblue on 16/9/2016 at 09:24

we are starting our trip in mid November; probably flying to Bangkok then looking almost immediately (post jet lag) to head to Vietnam. We would like to start somewhere that's reasonably quiet and scenic then move along the coast. My question is two fold; where's the best place to start (I've seen a number reviews about Phu Quoc and the rubbish on the beaches) and will Hoi An and Hue be pretty rainy? We'll be in south east Asia for three months so are quite flexible. Welcome thoughts on whe ...

Itinerary advice for 18 day trip

Posted by rachel275 on 8/6/2016 at 17:13

Hi folks, We have 18 full days in Vietnam in October (flying in to Ho Chi Min at night and out of Hanoi in the morning at the end). We are looking for some opinions on itinerary from people who have spent a bit of time in Vietnam. We are in our 40s, like a night out but not the backpacker party scene, don't fancy Sapa or Nha Trang. We both have some back issues so prolonged trekking and long bus or train journeys are out, but we can do a bit of both. Primarily we would like views on how ...

My family together with my close friend's family intend to travel in mid-September. We are very curious about floating markets in Southeast Asia; thus decide to make a tour of Mekong Delta in Vietnam. If having more free time, we will visit other places. Because we have 4 children at 10-12 years old, we want to book a family tour so that we don't have to worry about hotels, meals, etc. The number of people is 10. This is the first time we have travelled abroad; so we wonder which travel company ...

I will be in Da Nang and Hoi An April and May of 2017. The usual Fireworks competition in Da Nang is changing venue and maybe dates, with conflicting announcements at this time. Does anyone have any more precise info than what is on the websites at this time of August, 2016?????? I would like to be staying on the rooftop of the Minh Toan Galaxy Hotel sipping a cool beverage by the pool while taking in the show by the Sun Wheel to the SE skyline. trip report from ha giang from two independent ladies with no bikes!

So we decided to create this post because we had such a problem finding good information about traveling in the ha giang province. We pretty much went on this adventure thinking, let's just take the dive and hope it works out. Good news! It did. With a little bit of hard work, you can travel through ha giang for quite cheap, without a guide, and without a motorcycle. First off, arranging your travel permit can be quite a bit trickier than we expected. Its extremely hard to find anyone who spea ...
