Dear all, I want to join some tours in Vietnam in Febuary like Ha Long, Sapa, Mekong Delta,... Total daily cost should be max. 75USD. I'm a bit confused regarding the recommendations/ratings. It seems Sinh Cafe = SinhTourist ( is highly recommended here as well as in some books. Yet they are missing in the series of Ha Long Bay article(s). Which National Park to visit in Vietnam?

Posted by cheeco on 17/11/2009 at 16:47

Hello everyone! I am just wondering which National Park is the best to visit in Vietnam? My husband and I are looking for best wildlife, easily accessible, and easiest to navigate (preferably with a guide). We are not big into hiking, nor do we have the equipment to be serious about it (running shoes only). 2 days would be fine. I have checked out these, and think they could be good, but looking for people to respond that have actually been to these places: Ba Be Bach Ma Ba Vi Phong ...

To book or not to book (in advance) and other questions

A lot of travel guides suggest that it is a good idea to book accommodation in advance while traveling the country, but we wanted to wing it slightly, and (apart from the first ...

Hey guys. Long time since I posted here. Myself and my g.f will be arriving in Vietnam around Feb/March and we've always wanted to do a motorbike trip from North to South. We have about 5/6 weeks in Vietnam and we would like to know of any resources that we could research about such a trip? My biggest concern is that my g.f doesn't drive, so she will have to be on the back on the bike with me and our 1 backpack attached somewhere. I've driven a scooter around Thailand plenty of times, but ne ...

Vietnam Itinerary check/suggestions

Posted by stever1000 on 21/11/2013 at 02:03

Hello! I will be flying into Ha Noi March 2. My partner and I will spend approx 4-5 weeks in Vietnam, and 3-4 weeks in Cambodia. We need to be in Thailand May 5 for a course. I know this will be near the end of the "good" season and getting hotter before the wet season starts, so I was wondering how this rough itinerary would work (this is the vietnam section, so I will only post those places). Will any of these places be too hot? Or is it still manageable? March 2 Fly into Ha Noi. H ...

My husband and I are going to be spending some time in Hanoi later this month and have time for a couple trips. We've settled on Bai Tu Long Bay and spending some time hiking Ha Giang. Can anyone recommend guides for hiking around Ha Giang? I've found Ethnic Travel, but didn't know if there were others that might be good. We're looking at perhaps 3-5 days. Also looking at cruises at Bai Tu Longj Bay, is there really a need to do anything longer than a 2D/1N cruise? Thanks in advance for ...
