I really want to know if generally speacking, at the border between Thailand/Lao/Vietnam/Cambodia, people do look close and pay attention to your passport. My problem is that my bf has been kicked out twice from England because of overstay, so he has two BIG,BLACK "NO ENTRY" stamps on it!!! Is it an issue? he was thinking of having a new one done, but then changed his bloody mind. I'm kinda worried tho. Told him I'll leave him at the border and carry on with my travel! LOL pls help! ...

Hi We are british couple trying to organise a trip arriving in Thailand this December by air. I myself am a bit confused by the visas and although we can plan flights etc here in the UK - we would like to be able to have some freedom to travel around. Answering these visa questions will really help our planning (or not needing to plan :) 1) If we get a multiple entry visa - can we spend 3 months in Thailand then travel to Vietnam - Laos etc and return and spend another 3 months in Thailand ...

Thai Tourist Visa Fees waived until March 2010

I have just obtained my visa for Thailand from the Thai Consul in Liverpool. The fees are currently waived so all I had to pay was the admin fee of £10. I obtained 3 entries for £10. Definitely worth considering if you're heading to Thailand any time soon. ...

We are hoping to enter Thailand via a border crossing but want at least a 30 day tourist visa - is this possible? we've noticed the 15 on arrival one organised at the border but is it possible to pre-organise a longer one or even 'pay' for one at the boder? any help is good. cheers, matthew ...

Hi All, We are travelling around south east asia from Mid Oct09 - Mid Feb10. Plans are going really well expect begining to get a bit stressed about some visa issues. 1) When we arrive in bangkok we will have a 30 day(UK) and 15 day(czech) visa. We then plan to travel on to cambodia, vietnam and laos and reenter thai in dec09 where we plan to take some time (4 weeks) working our way down to malaysia. Hi all, I've searched the requirements of Thai Visa's but I soon get confused. Please can someone help me. Hi, we are planning on going to Thailand at the end of a 6 month trip starting in Novemeber - we'll be arriving by train from Malaysia so have established we will need a visa as we are planning on staying for more than 15 days. But apparently they are only valid for 3 months after application which means we can't apply for them here before we leave. Is it possible to sort them out whilst in singapore/Malaysia before we enter Thailand and if so is it relatively easy to do this? If not what woul ...

Hi guys, I'm flying into Bangkok and travelling to Cambodia, Southern Laos, back to Cambodia, and back into Thailand to fly home from Bangkok. Can anyone advise me of the visa situation?
