Taqueria Corona

Now that La Cantina is (so sadly) gone, Taqueria Corona is free to take up the crown for best Mexican food in town.

Generous portions of all of your favourites are served up in a comfortable air con room by carefully attentive staff. The recommendations for here were entirely unanimous, not one single person suggested trying anywhere else, and when we went it was easy to see why. They cover all of the basics, with nachos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, tacos, and so much more, your biggest problem is going to be having to make a final decision. The nachos and soft tacos we had were homemade, the salsa spicy, and the tacos ($6.75) were loaded with tasty ground beef, salad, cheese, salsa and sour cream. They’re on Street 51, south of Street 242, so a little bit out of the way, but walking distance if you’re staying in BKK1.
