The real Thai deal
5001 Beach Road, #01-67 Golden Mile Complex

From the Thai-speaking staff to the portraits of the Thai King on the wall, Diandin Leluk is just about as authentic as it gets in Singapore without hopping on a plane to Bangkok.
The menu is extensive and covers everything from stand-bys like tom yam goong and green curry to northeastern Thai specialties like larb and chicken feet. We've eaten here a few times and are yet to have a bad meal.
Refreshingly, the food is mouth-numbingly spicy, but they'll tone down the chilli if you ask. Prices are moderate (don't compare them to what you'll pay in Thailand!) and the service is fast and friendly.
Diandin Leluk is the most formal of the Golden Mile Thai restaurants and if you're looking for something even more casual, Nong Khai Beer House is just to the right (when looking at Diandin Leluk) and offers good Thai fare in a simple cafe setting.
Both are inside on the ground floor of the Golden Mile Complex on Beach Road -- the closest SMRT is Bugis or Levender - both a solid 30 minute walk away.
