Nang Loeng Market starts early and ends early, pretty much clearing out by mid-afternoon each day.
Come for breakfast or lunch to enjoy the busy bustle. Fruit and vegetables are stacked high on either side, and the meat and fish section runs down the middle. Prepared foods are sold on either edge of the market, and there are a few stalls that fry up noodles or wok-dishes to order scattered around. Nang Loeng has some amazing Thai desserts and fruit shakes as well. If you're feeling up for a picnic, grab some stuff to go and walk to the canal at Krung Kasem St — just exit right from Soi Nang Loeng 1 and walk to the corner- there are some shady trees and places to sit along the water.
