Bangkok is so big, we’ve split it up into areas, select one of the below for detailed accommodation and food listings in that area. Sights and general overviews for Bangkok as a whole can be found via the icons above. Don’t know where to start? Read an overview of Bangkok’s different areas.
If it's not too hot, try to sit in the candle lit courtyard that opens off the bar on the main floor — it's beautiful on a balmy tropical evening.
Indigo went through a rough patch in the last couple years, but they seem to have righted themselves and are offering the same rock-solid, honest French food that made them a hub of the Francophone expatriate community.
Rare for Bangkok, Indigo offers wine by the glass at reasonable prices, and has a well-chosen and affordable wine list. The beef dishes really shine, and their pates, confits and sausage are expertly done, especially washed down with a glass of bubbly. To find Indigo, turn onto Convent from Silom.
Turn down the first soi on the right, immediately across the street from Molly Malone's Irish Bar, and Indigo will be on the left, about a hundred metres down the alley. Starters 200-300 baht, Mains from 290 baht.
