Somewhat difficult to walk to (it's about 800 meters up Soi 39 from Sukhumvit Rd), L'Opera has a solid if uninspiring Italian menu that features standard antipasti, pasta preparations, and roasted meats.
The food is well prepared and all of the pasta is house made daily. L'Opera (and its sister establishment next-door, Opera Riserva Winebar) has a great Italian wine list and there are some classic desserts to finish dinner on a sweet note.
Not the most adventurous menu, but a solid Italian option. Antipasti 350 - 450 baht, pasta 300-450 baht, meat preparations 500 - 1000 baht.
