The dining room at Kuang Sea Foods has the same charm that the stacks of aquariums out front have: wall to ceiling windows, tile, and lots of fluorescent light.
At least it's not flooded with water. But from this humble and uninspired design springs forth some delicious seafood for reasonable prices. Crab fried rice is chock full of sweet crab meat; the steamed fish in soy falls from the bones in succulent chunks; and the crab with yellow curry drips in a tasty mix of egg, curry powder and scallions.
The menu is extensive and in English. The service is lackadaisical at best, but the food makes any tribulation worth it. Plates from 150 baht, gut busting dinner for four under 1,000 baht.
