Champasak Spa

Heavenly pampering

More on Champasak
An excellent spa in southern Laos is such a rare find that we consider getting pampered in Champasak a must do.
Travelfish says:

In Laos it’s difficult to find a spa that combines quality, ambience, cleanliness and experience at an affordable price. Set in a lovely old traditional Lao house, this French-managed spa hits all these notes. We tested the spa—it was a tough assignment but we love our readers too much to pass on this investigation. We can attest that local staff receive careful training in all aspects of the spa experience.

Special attention is paid to the details, from silence within the spa, lockers for valuables, privacy and hygiene. All treatment products are made fresh from natural ingredients: coconut, turmeric, papaya, clay, just to list a few. Treatments include relaxation time with tea and fruit on the spa’s tranquil deck on the Mekong.

We love this place and it deserves your indulgence, especially if you’re feeling weary from the grind of the road. Not surprising, this spa is often fully booked so making the appointment in advance is strongly advised.

Sample prices: a one hour body massage is 90,000 kip, aroma oil massage is 130,000 kip, 30 minute facial is 80,000 kip. The half- or full-day packages are excellent value and discounts are sometimes offered for morning treatments. It’s perhaps one of the best value spas in Laos given its quality and price.
